August 2014 -Patterns 
Take a photograph in which patterns play a dominant role.
September 2014 - Macro 
Get up close and personal with the subject of your choice. You need not specifically use your macro feature, but your Image should be a close-up shot.

 October 2014 - Winged Things
From angels to flying pigs, parasailors to mayflies, give us an entrancing image of something with wings.
 November 2014 - Portraiture 
Portraiture is photography of a person or group of people that displays the expression, personality, and mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included.
December 2014 - Fences 
Take a photograph where the fence is a predominant element.
January 2015 - Street Photography 
Street photography is a type of documentary photography that usually features, but Not limited to, people in candid situations in public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings.
 February 2015Sun-Something
Sunrise, Sunset, Sunday, Sunfish, Sunflower, the list goes on... get inspired by something that begins with "sun"!
March 2015 - Doors, gates, knobs, locks, handles and windows
Show the detail in doors, gates, knobs, locks, handles and windows.
April 2015 - OPEN
Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.
May 2015 - From the Ground Up
Take your best image from the perspective of the ground up.
June 2015 - Architecture
Creatively capture an interesting photograph of architecture.
July 2015 -  Vehicles
From rockets to chariots and everything in between.

 August 13, 2015 -Open

September 10, 2015 - Reflections
This doesn’t just mean water; it could be shiny metal or mirrors, among other things.

 October 8, 2015 - Something Old
Something Old: an antique, a person, or anything else old.

 November 12, 2015 - Emotions 
Happiness, sadness, joy, envy…how many emotions can you capture with just a photo?

December 10, 2015 - Monochrom Open
Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.

January 14, 2016 - Food
You can pick a type of food or shoot a variety. Get up close and personal.
Food can be a still life. People eating or preparing food will work too, as long as the food is the star of the photo.

 February 11, 2016 - Color
Pick a color, and take a photo where that color is dominant in the image. This is not a monochrome theme.  
You don’t have to have only one color, but one color should stand out.

March 10, 2016 - Weather
Good weather, bad weather, rain, snow, rainbows, lightning, etc.
Whatever your choice, make them think weather.

April 14, 2016 - OPEN
Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.
May 12, 2016 - Music
Instruments, concerts or even conceptual photos that invoke thoughts of music or other sounds. People doing things with music

June 9, 2016 - Tattoos and Piercing
Another street project if you don’t have enough friends and family sporting tattoos. People with tattoos are often more than happy to talk to you about their origin and their meaning and usually don’t mind having them photographed. And there are tattoo parlors in every neighborhood these days. They are not scary places. They are actually fun. Take a picture of a tattoo or piercing, someone showing off their tattoo, getting a tattoo. Make it fun.

July 14, 2016 -  Fireworks or Fire
Celebrations, disasters, camping trips, candles – make the fireworks or fire the star.

Photograph the place you call home, could be inside or outside.

Out of focus foreground or background elements of the photo.

 February 9, 2017 - Celebrations
Birthdays, holidays, depict celebration in your images

March 9, 2017 - Clouds
Creating drama and impact to a image. Playing a major role in the image.

April 13, 2017 - OPEN
Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.
May 11, 2017 - On the Beach
Any strip of land bordering a body of water, ocean, lake, pond or river.

June 8, 2016 - Boats
 Motorboats, sailboats, marinas.

July 13, 2016 -  The Golden Hour
The light just after sunrise or before sunset, when the light is low.

Before the end of thunderstorm season in South Florida, photograph weather or the effects that weather can have on the environment.

January 11, 2018 - PETS
Pet photography can be challenging. Learn how to capture great shots of pets (not wildlife) and submit your best image.

 February 8, 2018 - A NIGHT ON THE TOWN
From the bright lights to the gloomy bars, photograph the city or town at night, well after sundown (no sunsets/sunrises or twilight shots).

March 8, 2018 - MONOCHROME OPEN
Produce a photograph of any subject, developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one color.
March 22, 2018 - MOTION BLUR
While we often strive for crisp, and detailed shots, intentional motion blur can enhance and add drama to an image. Use long shutter speeds, time-lapse photography, change of zoom while shooting, motion panning, etc., to create an image that makes good use of motion blur.

April 12, 2018 - Shallow Depth of Field
Shallow depth of field is often used to isolate a subject from its surrounding environment or to make it stand out.
Find a creative use of a shallow depth of field as this month’s challenge.
May 10, 2018 - Open

June 14, 2018 - Single Light Source
 Use a single, artificial light source (no sunlight at all) to dramatically light the subject of your choice.


July 12, 2018 -  Painting with Light
Produce a photograph that was made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph to creatively illuminate your subject, to outline your subject with the light source, or even to create a subject with the light source itself such as patterns or word art.

 August 09, 2018 -OPEN

September 13, 2018 - REFLECTIONS
Take an image that captures the reflection of a person, animal or object using any type of reflective surfaces such as water, windows, metals or mirrors. The reflective surface may also be used to create an abstract image.

 October 11, 2018 - FILLING THE FRAME
This theme requires the photographer to frame the subject such that it becomes the most significant portion of the photograph.
It requires getting closer to the subject through the use of a zoom lens or physically moving closer.
 November 8, 2018 - OPEN
Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.

December 13, 2018 - NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
Images must be captured outdoors between dusk and dawn. Photographers may use artificial lighting and long exposure settings.

January 10, 2019 - SHADOWS
Take a photograph using light – artificial or natural - to cast a shadow or to create a silhouette of your subject.
The shadow (or silhouette) can itself be the subject of the photograph.

 February 14, 2019 - LEADING LINES
Your image must contain leading lines that lead the viewer's eye to another point in the image or out of the frame entirely.
Anything with a definitive line can be used including fences, bridges, street lines, and shorelines.

March 14, 2019 - OPEN MONOCHROME
Produce a photograph of any subject, developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one color.
 April 11, 2019 - FORGOTTEN OR ABANDONED
Take a photograph of an abandoned, decaying object or crumpled structure indicating a bygone era (no people or animals)
Some examples include old homes, barns, old windows, and rusted objects.

May 09, 2019 -5 SECONDS OR LONGER LONG EXPOSURE  
Take a photograph where exposure is accomplished by using a longer shutter speed, (5 – seconds or more) to achieve motion blur or movement. Long exposures can be used to blur the water in oceans or waterfalls, to blur the movement of people or animals or to accentuate the movement of stars across the night sky.  

June 13, 2019 - OPEN
 Anything goes, open up your imagination and creativity.

July 11, 2019 - WET
Take a photograph of anything that is “wet”. For example, people, animals, vegetations, structures, vehicles, etc.
The photo must show the droplets, from rain or any water source or be a wet surface such as a wet road.
Oceans, rivers or any permanent body of water do not qualify
