This month, KCC has something special:  Architectural photographer,Dan Forer, will be our Program Night speaker and then he will also lead a field trip to FIU and demonstrate his techniques on the following Sunday morning.

In addition to speaking on his work in this genre during Program Night, Dan will also talk to us about Margaret Bourke White who was a leader in industrial architectural photography in the 1920's.  White is best known as the first foreign photographer permitted to take pictures of the Soviet five-year plan.  Dan delivered a presentation on White to the Wolfsonian at FIU.

For over 30 years, Dan Forer has honed his skills working hand-in-hand with the most accomplished architects and interior designers.  Dan is a “Contributing Photographer” to Architectural Digest Magazine. As well, Dan has contributed to many books on residential and commercial design. Dan’s photographs appear in such magazines as: Interior Design, Home & Design, Architectural Record, Florida Design, Visual Merchandising, Hospitality Design, Veranda, Southern Accents, Inside-Out, Casa & Estilo, Florida International, AD Italia.  Dan has been a popular speaker for KCC on architectural photography and returns after several years to tell how to photograph architecture.  As a bonus, Dan will also lead a field trip to work with us and show us how to photography architecture at FIU on the Sunday morning following Program Night.  More details on the field trip to follow.
