Live a day in the 16th Century at the Annual Florida Renaissance Festival and take this unique opportunity to photograph the festival participants in outrageous and authentic costumes.

Gates open at 10am and close at sunset.  Plan to meet our leader for this field trip, Bob Karafel, and the rest of the field trip group at the entrance where tickets are sold at 11am.  Bob is an outstanding photographer who will be leading this field trip and will be happy to offer tips those less experienced photographers who need assistance.

Each weekend of the Renaissance Festival features a different theme.  This weekend is the Carnival Masquerade and here is the festival's description:  "Let Winter wane and bring on the spring with a fête during our final weekend!  During our Carnivale Masquerade weekend you can play behind delicately detailed masks, historic costumes and intriguing disguises! Discover mystery and enchantment, with a touch of mischief, and make this an Easter weekend to remember!"

Carnival Masquerade Weekend

Besides many enthusiastic, costumed participants and attendees, there will be over 100 Artisans selling their wares, Over 100 Performers to entertain, Kid's Kingdom, Entertainment and Food and Drynk fit for a King! It's a Fun Family Event for All Ages!
